Rafael Palomino was born on October 26, 1976, and passed away on May 30, 2025. He was born and raised in Manteca and, though he spent much of his adult life traveling and living in different parts of the country, he always considered Manteca his home.
He is survived by his parents, Jose and Josefina; his six children- Analicia, Rachelle, Mario, Luciano, Isabel, and Marc; and his seven grandchildren; Dominic, Jordan, Josiah, Nehemiah, Hezekiah, Nevaeh, and Ariyah. Rafael is also survived by his siblings, Alma, Olga, Jose, and Crystal. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerardo, Jesus, and Jose-Mario.
Rafael grew up in Manteca, attending Nile Garden Elementary School and graduating from Manteca High School. An entrepreneur at heart, he spent 30 years building his own businesses where he was known for his drive and determination. He had a deep faith in God and truly lived by his favorite quote of "What we do in life echoes into eternity "
A man of diverse interests, Rafael enjoyed fishing, shooting, camping, and exploring the outdoors. He was a self-proclaimed foodie with a love for trying new foods and a passion for old-school cars and music. His personality was truly one of a kind- courageous, caring, detail-oriented, and thorough. Always a leader and mentor, Rafael believed deeply in others and was known for his strength and resilience.
He will be remembered by his powerful presence, his inspiring character, his dedication to his family. He will be missed by all who had a privilege of knowing him.
