Ana Pimentel, born on February 22, 1933, in a life filled with love, faith, and dedication, peacefully left us on May 28, 2025. She was a resident of Manteca for 68 years, a community she cherished dearly.
Ana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Pimentel; her daughter, Ann Elam Pimentel; granddaughter, Jenna Pimentel; and sister, Maria Goulart. She is survived by her son, John Pimentel, and his wife, Tamme; grandchildren-Vanessa, John Howard, Jaimee, Jimmy, Jessica, Charie, Samuel, Ashley, and Gary; as well as her great-grandchildren; Walker, Carter, Gabriel, Lucille, and many others she adored.
A proud alumni of Stanislaus State University, Ana earned her master's degree and dedicated her life to shaping young minds as a teacher at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, primarily instructing first and third graders. Her involvement in her faith community was extensive; she was an active member of St. Anthony's Church, participating in the Legion of Mary, serving as a Eucharistic minister, and contributing to the prayer shawl ministry. Her talent for crocheting brought comfort and warmth to many, and her love for travel took her across the United States and Europe alongside her husband, creating lifelong memories.
Ana's deep faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was a prayer warrior whose firm trust in God inspired everyone around her. Her personality was marked by strength and kindness-she was a woman of conviction who instilled respect through her fairness and sternness when needed. Her jolly laugh and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ana's warmth, forgiveness, and faith made her a guiding light in her family and community.
